Ground Paint Skills of Shadow Chasers take this class to a higher tier in terms of support. Please see skills that fall under this category.

Man Hole
Max at Lvl 3
Prerequisites: Flag Graffiti LV 1
Paint a hole on the ground to trap 1 enemy. Trapped targets will not be able to do attack, but cannot be attacked either.

Catalyst: Consumes 1 Can of Paint and Requires 1 Paintbrush
Duration: 5*skill lvl seconds
Radius: 3x3
Cast Range: 7 cells

  • Limited to 3 active at any particular time.
  • Cannot be cast directly beneath but can be cast directly next to a target.
  • Able to indefinitely trap a target within the Man Hole by consistently using on trapped target.
  • Traps monsters (including boss), enemies and allies who steps within the AoE. It does not affect the user but are vulnerable to other Shadow Chaser's Man Hole.
  • Centre of AoE must be cast on a selectable cell and not dead cell.
  • Targets within Man Hole are considered removed from play therefore become invulnerable. Hence a trapped Hunter/Ranger's traps will not operate if they are trapped in a Man Hole.
  • Able to Man Hole targets into Dimension Doors, Warp portals or normal map portals. Recently Disabled to use in towns.
  • Allows use of items whilst trapped.
  • If multiple targets stacked on a single cell of all within radius of skill. It will trap the 1st target to move, use a skill or is already trapped.
  • Magnetic Earth cancels and prevents casting of this skill. However Removing the Man Hole will not free the target.
  • 1sec Cast time, No Re-use Delay and 2sec After-Cast Delay



Dimension Door
Max at Lvl 3
Prerequisites: Man Hole LV 1
Scribble a magical door on the ground. Anyone that walks into the door will be teleported to a nearby location.

Catalyst: Consumes 1 Can of Paint and Requires 1 Paintbrush
Duration: 4*skill lvl seconds
Radius: 1x1
Cast Range: 7 cells

  • Cannot be cast directly beneath but can be cast directly next to a target.
  • Disabled on maps that doesn't allow skill Teleportation (Acolyte)
  • Limited to 1 active at any particular time.
  • Will teleport any person stepping on AoE to a random location on the map.
  • Magnetic Earth cancels and prevents casting of this skill.
  • 1sec Cast time, No Re-use Delay and 2sec After-Cast Delay



Chaos Panic
Max at Lvl 3
Prerequisites: Man Hole LV 1
Paint an insignia on the ground that will cause Chaos (lose control of movement direction) to enemies that enter. Will also cause monsters to randomly switch targets.

Catalyst: Consumes 2 Cans of Paint and Requires 1 Paintbrush
Duration: 5*skill lvl seconds
Radius: 5x5
Cast Range: 7 cells

  • Cannot be cast directly beneath but can be cast directly next to a target.
  • Affects monsters, enemies, allies and user who steps within its AoE.
  • Magnetic Earth cancels and prevents casting of this skill.
  • 1sec Cast time, No Re-use Delay and 2sec After-Cast Delay



Maelstrom
Max at Lvl 3
Prerequisites: Chaos Panic LV 3, Masquerade - Unlucky LV 3
Paint a swirl shape on the ground and absorb any ground-targeted magic attacks. User will recover SP from absorbed magic.

Catalyst: Consumes 2 Cans of Paint and Requires 1 Paintbrush
Duration: 7*skill lvl seconds
Radius: 5x5
Cast Range: 7 cells

  • Can be cast directly beneath a target.
  • Prevents ground paint and AoE magic working or casted within the area.
  • Prevents traps from being placed within AoE. Other traps can be pushed in and/or damage targets inside AoE.
  • Shields enemies, allies and user who steps within its AoE.
  • Magnetic Earth cancels and prevents casting of this skill.
  • Does not clear already placed traps or other static ground based skills eg. Sage's Elemental fields.
  • WEIRD: Absorption of spells only function if user is within AoE.
  • BUG: Doesn't recover SP for absorbed magic.
  • 2sec Cast time, No Re-use Delay and 2sec After-cast Delay.



Bloody Lust
Max at Lvl 3
Prerequisites: Dimension Door LV 3
Paint a rousing red symbol on the ground. Anyone who enters the symbol receives the effects equivalent to Provoke LV 10 (ATK +32%, DEF -55%).

Catalyst: Consumes 2 Cans of Paint and 1 Paintbrush
Duration: 7*skill lvl seconds
Radius: 3x3
Cast Range: 7 cells

  • Can be cast directly beneath a target.
  • Affects monsters, enemies and allies who steps within its AoE.
  • Does not affect caster of skill.
  • Provoke effect is only kept if you remain within AoE.
  • Magnetic Earth cancels and prevents casting of this skill.
  • 2sec Cast time, No Re-use Delay and 2sec After-cast Delay.



Feint Bomb
Max at Lvl 3
Prerequisites: Dimension Door LV 3
Paint a figure on the ground that looks exactly like yourself, and Backslides. A moment later, the painted figure will explode, dealing damage to all enemies around it.

Catalyst: Consumes 1 Can of Paint and Requires 1 Paintbrush
Attack Power: (200+100*skill lvl)% Atk
Damage formula (estimated): [(200+100*s.lvl) + (DEX*(1+s.lvl)*1.5)-1]% * base lvl mod.
Backslide Distance: 3*skill lvl cells

  • Although it leaves behind a faded figure, monsters will still follow the player.
  • Damage of clone is dependent on skill level and user's DEX.
  • Hiding immediately after using skill deactivates the explosion of the figure.
  • The bomb is planted the moment you use the skill while the casting time is only for the Back Slide. Hence the clone figure explodes 2seconds after using the skill, regardless how fast it took to cast.
  • Backslide effect works in WoE map zones or areas that normally prevent backslide.
  • 1sec Cast time, 4sec Re-use Delay and Instant After-cast Delay.




USEFUL TIPS:
•If you manhole a Minstrel while they have a song up, it does continue to work as normal. Furthermore, you can move them away from their song and it stays in the same position and continues to work.

The same works for duet skills, but you CANNOT initiate a duet song if the other party is in a Manhole.

The same way that any spell that is cast before the manhole, if you are manholed mid-cast, the spell will still go off while you are in the hole.

This is useful when the Guildmaster casts EMERGENCY CALL. This is not applicable though if you are casting a skill that inflicts damage (COMET or Suicidal Destruction), only on supportive spells.

However, you can put up manhole strategically to warlocks and mechanics for them to execute their skills using lower lvls of manhole. If a low-dex MECH casts Suicidal Destruction, you can use this skill to that MECH but be sure to perfectly time his SD casting with the duration of the manhole. The manhole skill should run out first before the explosion happens. Another good use is most likely on Sorc Summons. This could be the best/easiest way to keep a summon that's buffing a sorc alive in WoE. Not something to be impractically maintained, but more just if we see a rush on our precast, manhole the summon once so it doesnt die to a released comet or whatnot.

You can't receive dmg on manhole , however you are targettable by anything that doesn't do dmg directly. ( Shadow Form, Provoke, Clearance, Dispell, Stone Curse, etc... ). You are protected in manhole by dmg and all status that require a hit to affect you. Status that doesn't need hit or dmg to infect bypass manhole.


•Maelstrom blocks the following skills to be casted on the affected area:
Hell Plant, Manhole, Pnuema, Safety Wall.
Maelstrom cancels the effect of Earth Grave, Earth Strain, Cloud Kill, Psychic Wave and Diamond Dust
If you cast Maelstrom first and then Land Protector, Maesltrom will eat 5x5 of the LP cells. If you cast LP first then maelstrom, it should do nothing sice ME eats it.

While the caster is in the AoE of Maelstorm, all the 5x5 cells are considered for skill targeting purposes DEAD CELLS. You know the ones that allows you to place traps and with no traps appearing? Just makes you waste SP and catalyst... Magic skills like Psychic Wave will have it's animation played but SP will be drained and no cooldown or aftercast delay will activate (they can recast it instantly). What Maelstorm does really depends on the opposing skill's interaction with a dead cell.

• Chaos Panic does not affect boss monsters due to their immunity to statuses.

• Bloody Lust does not affect the caster of the skill.

• Dimension Door can not be used inside WoE seige maps.

• GTB users are immune to all Chaser's ground paints.



Will post more info after a few more tests, need to validate things first.
In the meantime, feedback/comments/questions are very much welcome.
