Sorcerer Spirit System
Sorcerers have the ability to communicate with spirits - as to what the Sorcerer job change quest tells us. This gives them the power to call upon the different elemental spirits and have them aid the Sorcerers in their adventures.
There are four elemental summons namely Agni, Aqua, Ventus and Tera which represents the elements of fire, water, wind and earth respectively. Maintaining the spirit is quite expensive as it requires you to have plenty of elemental stones [depending on your chosen spirit] as each summon require specific types of elemental stones [either ores or pure elemental stone]. Definitely not for newbies.
When summoned, the spirit's default mode is Standby Mode. While in Standby Mode, the spirit will recover HP and SP faster. With the Sorcerer skill Spirit Control, the spirit's mode can change into Passive (buff) Mode [Skill level 1], Defensive Mode [Skill level 2], and Offensive Mode [Skill level 3]. Each mode have specific skills that can be given as boosts to the summoner's skills or can be used by the summon to attack their opponents. This thread discusses those different skills for each of the summons.

Fire Spirit Agni
Passive Mode
Pyrotechnic
- Description: Increases damage of Fire Bolt and Fire Wall.
Heater
- Description: Increases the amount healed of the skill Warmer by a little. Slightly increases the damage of Fire Walk and Psychic Wave, changes the damage of Psychic Wave to fire element.
Tropic
- Description: When the summoner attacks, adds a chance to auto spell Fire Bolt. When casting Flame Launcher or Volcano have a 50% chance of not consuming a Red Blood or Yellow Gemstone.
Defensive Mode
Circle of Fire
- Description: Creates a circle of fire around the summoner, which causes damage to enemies who attack the summoner.
Fire Cloak
- Description: Increases resistance to fire elemental attacks but lowers resistance to water elemental attacks.
Fire Mantle
- Description: Creates a powerful Fire Wall around the summoner.
Offensive Mode
Fire Arrow
- Description: Fires a fire arrow at a single target dealing fire elemental damage.
Fire Bomb
- Description: Fires a fire bomb at a target dealing fire elemental damage in an area around it. Or deals fire elemental magic damage.
Fire Wave
- Description: Fires a wave of fire at a target dealing fire elemental damage in an area around it. Or the target takes large fire elemental magic damage.
Water Spirit Aqua
Passive Mode
Aqua Play
- Description: Increases Cold Bolt and Frost Diver damage.
Cooler
- Description: Slightly increases the damage of Diamond Dust and it's freezing chance. Slightly increases the damage of Psychic Wave and changes it's damage to water element.
Cool Air
- Description: When the summoner attacks, adds a chance to auto cast Cold Bolt. When casting Frost Weapon and Deluge have a 50% chance of not consuming a Crystal Blue or Yellow Gemstone.
Defensive Mode
Water Screen
- Description: Heals the summoner a set amount of HP. For a short period of time damage will be redirected to the Aqua.
Water Drop
- Description: Increases resistance to water elemental attacks but lowers resistance to wind elemental attacks.
Water Barrier
- Description: Creates a barrier of water around the summoner. While in this barrier, physical and magic damage are reduced. However, evasion and attack power are also reduced.
Offensive Mode
Ice Needle
- Description: Strikes a single target for water elemental magic damage.
Water Screw
- Description: Strikes a single target for water elemental magic damage. Or damages all enemies in a radius around the target.
Tidal Weapon
- Description: For a short period of time changes the summoner and the spirit's weapon to water elemental. Increases the elemental's attack power. Or causes large water elemental damage on 1 target.
Wind Spirit Ventus
Passive Mode
Gust
- Description: Increases damage of Lightning Bolt and Thunder Storm.
Blast
- Description: Increases damage of Electric Walk and Vartyr Spear. Increases damage of Psychic Wave and changes it to wind elemental damage.
Wild Storm
- Description: When the summoner attacks, adds a chance to auto cast Lightning Bolt. When casting Lightning Loader or Violent Gale have a 50% chance of not consuming a Wind of Verdure or Yellow Gemstone.
Defensive Mode
Wind Step
- Description: When activated, teleports the summoner. Increases the summoners movement speed and evasion for a period of time.
Wind Curtain
- Description: Increases resistance to wind elemental attacks but lowers resistance to earth elemental attacks.
Zephyr
- Description: Creates a barrier of wind around the summoner. Within the barrier it increases evasion and blocks ranged attacks. Also has a small chance to completely block physical and magic damage.
Offensive Mode
Wind Slasher
- Description: Strikes a target at long range with a blade of wind, causing wind elemental damage and Bleeding status.
Hurricane Rage
- Description: Attacks a target at long range with wind elemental magic damage. Or deals physical damage to all targets nearby.
Typhoon Missile
- Description: Attacks a target at long range with wind elemental damage. Or deals additional wind elemental magic damage and causes Silence status.
Earth Spirit Tera
Passive Mode
Petrology
- Description: Increases Success rate of Stone Curse. Increases damage of Earth Spike and Heaven's Drive.
Cursed Soil
- Description: Increases damage of Cloud Kill, Poison Buster, and Earth Grave. Psychic Wave becomes earth element and it's damage increased.
Upheaval
- Description: When the summoner attacks, adds a chance to auto cast Earth Spike. When casting Seismic Weapon have a 50% chance of not consuming a Green Live.
Defensive Mode
Solid Skin
- Description: Increases the defense and max HP of the summoner.
Stone Shield
- Description: Increases resistance to earth elemental attacks but lowers resistance to fire elemental attacks.
Power of Gaia
- Description: Creates a barrier of earth around the summoner. Within the barrier you cannot receive Bleeding or Petrification status. For a fixed time increases Max HP and Defense but lowers movement speed.
Offensive Mode
Stone Hammer
- Description: Attacks a single target for earth elemental damage and causes Stun status.
Rock Launcher
- Description: Strikes a target with earth elemental damage and lowers their defense. Or strikes a target with earth elemental magic damage and lowers movement speed.
Stone Rain
- Description: Drops rocks down on a target dealing earth elemental damage to a target and targets nearby. Or deals earth elemental damage and causes Stun status.
